Mouth of the river as the marsh hugs the barriers.
"Inbhir Nis" is "Inverness" in Scotish, aka "mouth of the river Ness. The Scottish people inhabited this coastal town and named it "New Invervess" after Inverness, the city in Scotland built on the mouth of the River Ness.
Life on the River and the transformation is the subject of my new series, "New Inverness" at Reinike Gallery. Over 30 works will chronicle this transformation and will be a show coming this fall at Reinike Gallery.
