Impressionistic acrylic landscape painting on stretched canvas. Painted around the sides.
When the clouds billow up the land below looks as it if it is part of a fantasy world, sobeit, OZ. The wind catches the roses and mixes the colors from warm reds to cool teal blurs. Just down the lane are the turn out fields for the horses.
I painted this on location, en plein air, with my barn friends looking on. I titled it as a play on words of the fantasy and magnificence of the day and OZ like feeling and also, OZ the horse sees this view out his stable.
This was painted on location and is the view OZ see's out his barn window. He looked on as I painted. :)
"OZ's View" is available through U Gallery and was selected as "Staff's Favorite".
“A painting is only started by the artist and than is launched and completed into the world for many chapters of the story. Art doesn’t belong to the artist. It will find it’s “home.”
