Scotch and Soda 40" x 22" Original Acrylic Painting

Patricia Fabian Arts

$900.00

Acrylic on masonite board  Framed in a double frame.

This painting was painted from life.  The model is Annie Jefferson.  It was an "undraped" session.  She was sitting on the chair.  When I came home I took out my "artistic license" and created the "speak easy" story, inspired by her attitude.  I added a bar and a drink.  She sits comfortable in her own skin.

Later, I posted it on FabianArts Facebook page and Annie asked if that was her?  I said "Yes, I put cloths on you and gave you a drink".  She said she was amazed because being a vocalist she can't drink anymore, but when she did drink... scotch was her drink of choice.  She loved the painted drink and commented it didn't look like it had any soda in it.  I told her I named it "Scotch and Soda" cause I liked the ring of it.  Just this week I realized that I put her on a stool that I wrote "Cola" on.  Mystery world, this art.

Available at Burton Gallery.  See Contact Page for their information.

Shipping and returns are free.  You have a one week trial time to "test it out". :)

“A painting is only started by the artist and than is launched and completed into the world for many chapters of the story. Art doesn’t belong to the artist. It will find it’s “home.”
