Lake painting of the quiet cove. A large scale plein air piece that is a 48 x 36 Acrylic painting on canvas with the image continued around the sides.
I painted this on location in my outdoor studio on my dock that I fondly call, "Inspiration Point". The cove is a bird sanctuary designated by the Corp of Engineers. Herons mate and have their babies here along with several goggles of ducks and geese. Birds of all sorts find refuge here.
