Jeweled Sea

Translucent jewel tones sparkle in the shallow surf.  This painting is very glossy with layers of medium with varnish.  The sheen has been brought up to match the crystalized surf. 

The clouds float off into the horizon to bring the feel of a crystal clear day over a jewel toned sea.

The use of the palette knife gives a thick textured feel to the work.
