The work is a swirl of broad brush strokes and palette knife marks that create the personalities of the fishing boats.
First one boat turns to come to port and then another till when you look out to sea it looks like a planned caravan.
Is it a game of "follow the leader" or is it just the most senior boat gives the nod to come in for the day. They seem to come through the fog into the clearing and still waters.
This is a 40 x 30 acrylic painting on canvas.
